All species listed below are suitable for hedging, providing leaf colour, lowers, berries or foliage. Most should be spaced 30cm or 1 foot apart.

Fagus sylvatica. Common Beech Hedging

Green Beech.
40-60cm /1.52' - £1.50p each.

Purple Beech.

Crataegus monogyna. Quickthorn/Hawthorn, White flowers in spring followed by red berries.

Prunus Spinosa. Blackthorn. White flowers in spring, black berries in autumn.
